Education And HIV Risk Among Young People In A High Prevalence Country

This study is designed to identify the mechanisms linking school quality and educational outcomes of youth to sexual behavior and the acquisition of HSV-2 and HIV. The longitudinal survey data collected from over 2,200 respondents will permit analysis of important gender differences in these mechanisms as the young women and men age from 14-16 in 2009 to 20-22 in 2013. IKI led the data collection and management of this important study.
