Information And Communications Technology (ICT) To Improve Health Services For Mothers & Children In Malawi

This is a quasi-experimental study to assess the feasibility of using ICT in improving maternal and child health. IKI designed, executed and analyzed the baseline quantitative and qualitative data collected from over 2800 households in four health centers in Balaka District and in two control health centers in Ntcheu District as treatment and control districts, respectively. In 2013, IKI conducted a follow up study with the same sample size as the baseline to evaluate the impact of the intervention.
