Research Support
This is the main activity that IKI does across many research disciplines and main activities include
- Questionnaire translations
- Training and recruitment of field staff
- Transcription and translation of qualitative interviews in Dedoose, NVivo etc
- Coding of qualitative interviews
- Data collection (IKI has a pool of experienced enumerators across the country, making it possible to work anywhere with any language)
- Data entry (We do data entry with verification of double blinded data entry)
- Data analysis
- Questionnaire designing for Electronic data capture (we are able to work with, ODK, SurveyCTO, Tangerine, Redcap, CSPro, Access etc)
- Questionnaire Archiving
- Facilitating acquisition of clearances with local authorities including ethics review boards
- Hosting of small conferences for principal investigators and other researchers both local and international
Capacity building
Scholarships
- (We support students in secondary schools and Universities who meet our selection criterion)
Corporate Social responsibility
- Funding of student conferences (We fund student activities aimed at building research capacity among students researchers in both private and public universities)
- Donation towards national events such as the Worlds Aids day. We often help the Zomba City Council such events.
